North Central State College continually studies labor market information to help gauge program demand. The college subscribes to state-of-the-art economic modeling software drawing from nearly 90 data sources. Data is available down to the county level and is updated quarterly. NC State has mapped all of its academic programs against federal "standard occupation codes" in an extensive review. Business, Technology and Workforce Development Programs
Programs in this division support the region's business, information technology, engineering technology and digital media needs. These programs are headquartered out of NC State's Kehoe Center in Shelby.
Liberal Arts, Education, Professional and Public Service Programs
This division offers's NC State's transfer degrees of the Associate of Arts and Associate of Science, which map to numerous bachelor-level positions. In addition, programs support the region's education, protective service, legal and human services industries.
