A Message from the Vice President, Learning Support and Retention

I’d like to extend a warm welcome to the Student Services web pages for North Central State College.  We are delighted and proud to be a part of your educational journey. Many of our students enroll at the College to explore an area of interest.  Others are pursuing a dream that has been postponed but never forgotten.  Some are planning to transfer eventually, and a large number would like to develop skills in order to advance in the workplace.

You will find that there are many tools available to help you to succeed not only with your academic decision-making, but also in developing your career and personal potential.  The Student Services web pages are a tool to assist in connecting you with the services that exist for you on campus, providing you with “nuts and bolts” information about policies and procedures, as well as helping you find answers to many of the questions that students or prospective students frequently ask.   This particular page also contains links to required reports and statistics that we regularly disclose to students and prospective students.

Sometimes you will find that you have a question that is not answered by a web page or a handbook or a catalog.  In that case, there are many individuals at the College who are available to assist you.  I am one of those individuals.  Please feel free to e-mail me at pmoir@ncstatecollege.edu or to stop in and see me in Kee Hall with any questions, concerns, or suggestions that you wish to discuss.
