The Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEOP) allows public and nonpublic high school students in grades 9 through 12 the opportunity to take college and/or high school graduation credit through successful completion of college courses.  All high school students enrolled in a dual enrollment/dual credit program at North Central State College (Post-Secondary Enrollment Options, Dual Enrollment/ Dual Credit Grant, College NOW, and Seniors to Sophomores) must maintain a 2.0 North Central State College grade point average in order to remain enrolled in that program. In addition if a student desires to move from one of the above programs to another, he/she must have a current grade point average of at least 2.0 from North Central State College.

What are the advantages of PSEOP?

PSEOP can be completed at NO COST to you!  Tuition, fees and the cost of all REQUIRED class room materials are funded by the state of Ohio.

Two Options are available to you under the PSEOP program:
Option A - College Credit only (student and parents pay all fees)
Option B - High School and college credit (state of Ohio pays tuition, fees, and cost of REQUIRED materials)

PSEOP students get a "head start" on their college education

PSEOP students have the opportunity to get a flavor for college before leaving high school

PSEOP students are exposed to real college classes, real teaching experiences and, oftentimes, transition much better into college upon graduation

Credits taken as a PSEOP are highly transferable to other colleges and universities

Who is eligible for PSEOP?

According to the Ohio Department of Education, "if you are a 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade student enrolled in an Ohio public or nonpublic high school, the Post Secondary Enrollment Options program provides an opportunity to take college courses..."
