Application Fee The application for admission to NC State requires no fee.

Application Deadlines There is no deadline to apply for entry to NC State. The Admissions Office does recommend a student apply no later than 1 month prior to start of classes. If a student is applying for Financial Aid we recommend that a student start the FAFSA no later than 2 months prior to start of classes.

Admission Requirements NC State is open enrollment. To be eligible for financial assistance a student must be able to show proof of HS Diploma or GED. To begin the process of Admission to NC State a student should schedule an appointment to meet with an Admissions Representative. A personalized enrollment plan will be determined at the appointment.

Wait Lists Health In 2007 the wait list process for all health programs was discontinued. Students will now enter an application pool once the program admission procedures are completed. For more information on this process please contact the Dean, Jim Hull 419.755.4850 jhull@ncstatecollege.edu

New/Discontinued Programs We are pleased to announce the Health Science (Bioscience) program new in 2008-2009. The Digital Media Technology (Broadcast Journalism) program is no longer accepting new students.

Childcare The college has childcare available for the children of current students. A student interested in using childcare should plan ahead and call the Child Development Center 419.755.5600 for more information. (link)

Transfer to 4-year There are many options for students interested in transfer to a 4-year university: general education classes; transfer module; 2-year graduate to 4-year; coming soon - Associate of Arts (General Studies) or Associate of Science (General Studies). (link)

Housing No on-campus housing is available for NC State students. Rental properties for the Mansfield area can be located at www.apartments.com. NC State does not endorse these properties.

Directions NC State is nestled between StRt 39 and Lexington-Springmill Rd N. Admissions is located in the Kee Hall Building. Entering Kenwood Circle from StRt 39 Kee Hall is the first building on your right. Entering Kenwood Circle from Lexington-Springmill Rd N - Kee Hall is the first building on your left.
