Follow these steps before you take the
NET or HOBET test:

Registration -
All fees are NON-REFUNDABLE
Print a copy of the
NET/ HOBET
Registration Form
(PDF
format). Complete the form and take
it to the Cashier's Office in the Fallerius Building along with your
payment. Cash, check, money order, or credit cards are
accepted.Costs are as follows:
- Non-refundable fee of $40.00
- Registrations
will NOT be
accepted on the day of the exam.

Preparation
Students who wish to prepare for this
examination may purchase a Nurse Entrance Test Study Guide (same as Study
Guide for the HOBET) in the
Campus Bookstore or
borrow a copy from the
Bromfield Library,
free of charge.

Check your NC Student E-Mail for Registration
Confirmation and Reminders
Soon after you pay your fee to
the Cashier's office, you will receive an e-mail confirmation
regarding your test date. If you neglect to provide an email
address, your NC State
Student E-mail account will be used to communication with you.

What to Bring on
Test Day
On the day of the test, arrive
15 minutes prior to test time
and one form of
identification with you.
Suggested forms of identification are a driver's license, social security
card, high school or college I.D. You will also need two #2 lead
pencils with erasers. Scrap paper will be provided and NO
CALCULATORS are permitted. Back to Top
- How Soon You Will Know Results
Test results will be
mailed to you from NC State approximately 10 - 14 days after the
test date. You may also check your scores online by logging
into
MyNC. Once you have logged in, click
on Assessment Summary. Your composite score will be indicated as "NET
Composite"; the reading and math scores which are averaged to determine
the composite score will also be recorded as "NET Reading" and "NET Math"
respectively. Note: HOBET Test results are recorded as NET scores and can be
inter-changed. Back to Top

Rescheduling
If you cannot attend on the
date indicated, and you must notify the Student Success Center by
calling 419-755-4736 or 419-755-4764 at least 24 hours in advance
of your scheduled test time in order to reschedule; otherwise,
another non-refundable fee will apply. Students will
only be permitted to reschedule one time. Students who fail to
give 24 hours notice will be required to pay another $40 fee to
schedule a new test date.
