Follow these steps before you take the NET or HOBET test:

1. Registration - All fees are NON-REFUNDABLE
   NET/ HOBET Test Information (PDF format)
    

   Costs are as follows:

   • 6 days or more in advance – Non-refundable fee of $28.50
   • 5 days prior to the test date – Registrations will NOT be accepted

   Register Online

   Register by visiting www.ERIworld.com and clicking on "Nurse Entrance Test - Site Registration".  Choose your state, test date at North Central State College, complete the required fields on the registration form, choose where you want your test results sent (probably North Central State College in Mansfield, Ohio).  Click Pay for Reservation, Add to Cart, and Checkout using a credit or debit card as payment.

2. Preparation
   Students who wish to prepare for this examination may purchase a Nurse Entrance Test Study Guide (same as Study Guide for the HOBET) in the Campus Bookstore or borrow a copy from the Bromfield Library, free of charge.

3. What to Bring on Test Day
   An exam permit will be sent to you from ATI/ERI (Assessment Technologies Institute or Educational Resources, Inc.) before your test date, which will indicate the test date and time information.  On the day of the test, arrive 15 minutes prior to test time and bring your exam permit and one form of identification with you. Suggested forms of identification are a driver's license, social security card, high school or college I.D.  You will also need two #2 lead pencils with erasers.  Scrap paper will be provided and NO CALCULATORS are permitted.

4. How Soon You Will Know Results
   Test results will be mailed to you from ATI/ERI (Assessment Technologies Institute or Educational Resources, Inc.) approximately 10 - 14 days after the test date.  You may also check your scores online by visiting the MyNC State Student page.  Once you have logged in, click on Student Information Inquiry and then choose Test Information.  Your composite score will be indicated as "NET CM"; the reading and math scores which are averaged to determine the composite score will also be recorded as "NET RD" and "NET MT" respectively.

5. Rescheduling
    If you cannot attend on the date indicated, and you notify ATI/ERI, in writing, prior to your test date that you will be unable to take the test, you will be registered for the next available date, at the North Central State College, at no charge to you.
   
   The request for rescheduling along with your original Examination Permit, needs to reach Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI) / Educational Resources, Inc. (ERI), at least 7 days prior to the new date on which you wish to take the examination.  A new Examination Permit will be processed.  If you have not received your new Examination Permit one week prior to the testing date you requested, call ATI/ERI's Customer Service Center at 800-299-EXAM, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday or 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Fridays, Central Standard Time.  Collect calls will not be accepted.

6. No Shows
   All appointment no-shows will be required to re-register through ATI/ERI by paying another registration fee.
