Mission: The mission
of North Central State College is to provide quality, responsive,

other educational programs for individuals, business and industry, and
the communities served. The purpose of the College's Student

Achieving the Dream Initiative:
North Central State College is a
participant in a multiyear
national
initiative to help more community college students succeed. The
initiative is particularly concerned about student groups that
traditionally have faced significant barriers to success, including
students of color and low-income students. |
College-Level Academic
Expectations for Entering Students: Part of the admission
and enrollment process at the College includes
COMPASS testing to discern placement into college-level or
developmental education courses. (If the student already has ASSET
or ACT scores, the College will use those scores for placement.)
Information on college-level expectations for reading/writing and
mathematics is included.
