  • Culture and community values
  • Culture and community resources
  • Culture and community diversity
Assessment Plans:
1.  On the Graduating Student Survey, 65% of the students will state that they experienced either "great improvement," "much improvement," and/or "some improvement" in response to the following statement: "My appreciation for and awareness of art, literature philosophy, and/or social and political issues have shown the following improvement as the result of course work at North Central State College."

2.  Students will write a graduate essay in which they will explain which humanities and social science courses they feel best contributed to their cultural and community awareness growth.  This will be done every other year.  The essays will be evaluated with the Rubric for Grading Culture and Community Exit Essays.

3.  Administer CCSSE survey every other year and capture cultural/civic awareness assessment from the data.
