Progress Report 2
April 22, 2008 - We are pleased to report on our progress in launching the presidential search process. The Board is delighted with the response from the College and the community at large. We want to take this opportunity to thank the faculty, administrators, staff and students who took time out of their busy schedules to attend the Presidential Search Public Forums. Your input was extremely valuable in helping us craft the President Position Profile. We are pleased to attach a copy of the NC State President Profile. We are off to a great start.
Campus Forums
On April 3rd, Dr. Larry Poole, our ACCT Search Consultant, facilitated two public forums on campus one at 10:00 a.m. and the other at 12:00 p.m. The intent of the public forums was to provide an opportunity for all members of the NC State community to become actively involved in the search. At each meeting, Dr. Poole facilitated lively discussions with all participants on ideal characteristics and priorities for the next President of NC State. Comments from participants were used to prepare a first draft of the President Profile.
