Donald L. Plotts,
Interim President
BiographyDonald L. Plotts currently serves as the Interim President of North Central State College in Mansfield, Ohio filling a vacancy left by Dr. Ronald E. Abrams the current Executive Director of the Ohio Association of Community Colleges. Don joined the College in 2006 filling the role of Special Assistant to the President dealing with government relations and collaborations following his retirement as the Superintendent of the sixth largest career technical and adult education center in the state of Ohio, the Pioneer Career and Technology Center in Shelby, Ohio. Don brings over thirty-eight years of total experience in education with him as he works to help North Central State College in their search for a new president. The Board of Trustees named Mr. Plotts as Interim President to provide continuous leadership to the college and its ongoing initiatives over the interim period until a new president is installed. Don has extensive experience developing community partnerships and high school collaborations. He has served in various local, regional, and state leadership roles in K-12 and higher education systems. Don received his Bachelors in Education degree from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio and his Masters in Education degree from The University of Toledo.
