“If students
take one course at their expense, we will provide one course at our expense,”
stated Dr. Ronald Abrams, President, North Central State College.
In our ongoing efforts to keep education affordable for non-traditional students, North Central State College is offering an Incentive Grant Program. Those NC State students who meet the criteria below are eligible for the grant, which equals tuition coverage for three credit hours.
Effective winter quarter 2001, to be eligible for the Incentive Grant:
1) you need to register for a minimum of six credit hours
2) complete an application for financial aid during your first quarter at North Central State College
3) enroll as a new student or returning student after an absence of three quarters
4) have a high school diploma with your class graduating in 1999 or before; or, hold a GED certificate
5) you cannot be receiving third party payment for tuition and fees
6) the Incentive Grant is not transferable and must be used in the quarter it is granted toward courses taken at North Central State College
7) you may not drop below six credit hours and receive funds from this grant.
To request an application for this grant, call 419-755- 4761.
