Meeting Minutes - 2/25/03

* Welcomed Matt & Peg to team and brought them up to speed on the history and work of the team to date. Touched briefly on the state of the site at present and Matt mentioned some future ideas for the site and re-design. The idea of bringing a student onto the team was also mentioned with Matt stating that he might have some interested DMT students. The team agreed this was a good idea and asked Matt to pursue this. * Discussed methodology to gather feedback from all college community members about the website as well as from key stake holders in the four strategic functions of the website. For faculty/staff/admin and students, the team thought the most useful method would be to place the survey online on the site itself to get their feedback. For the stake holders for each of the strategic functions, a written questionnaire of some sort seemed to be appropriate to target feedback on a particular function of the site, from where it is currently to where they would like their strategic function to go in the future. It was decided by the group to devote the next meeting to brain storming survey questions for both of these surveys. It was also suggested that in the interim, team members explore examples of web site surveys to bring to the next meeting and help the brain storming. * Team agreed to set for itself the short-term goal of a minor cosmetic 'refreshing' the site look by July. Matthew, Keith & MRW will get together to make this happen. * The team decided that it needed to keep things moving forward, so the group set the next meeting date and time for Thursday March 6 at 3pm in the IA office again.
