Basic Computer Numerical Control- CNC Series
Do you know there are CNC jobs available now?Employers are ready to grow and need CNC trained workers. Prepare for a career in CNC by taking the new CNC Series. This series consists of three classes designed to provide the entry level skills you need to start your CNC career. Classes start in January.
MEC 111- Machining Processes. This course offers basic machine tool operation and provides the background needed to fit into a shop, read and interpret drawings and work with accuracy. 4 Credits; 3 Lecture Hours; 2 Lab Hours, Monday & Wednesday, 5:30pm-7:50pm or Tuesday & Thursday, 8:30-10:50am.
MEC 264- Computer Aided Manufacturing. This course deals with basic computer numerical control programming and machining. Basic Mill and Lathe programming, including cutter compensation and sub-routines will be written by students and posted to a Fanuc interface. Prerequisite- MEC 111. 3 Credits; 2 Lecture Hours; 2 Lab, Tuesday & Thursday, 6:00pm-7:50pm or Tuesday & Thursday, 12:00-1:50pm.
TND 206- CNC Programming Operations II This course will give a brief review of NCN mill and lathe programming. Cisco Certified Network Associate, CCNA Certification Preparation
Cisco created the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA®) (CCNA) to recognize basic competency in installation and support of medium-sized networks. The CCNA certificate documents the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size route and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN.
