Rock-n-Ribs 2013 Free admission for Alumni Association members Members of the North Central State College Alumni Association get free admission to the Rock-n-Ribs 2013 event July 11-13 on the Mansfield Campus. Wishing you could be a member? We do, too -- and you can! Act now and you'll not only get free admission to the entire event, but you'll also pay half the usual $100 lifetime membership fee. Through May 2013, lifetime memberships are only $50. In addition to mouth-watering ribs offered by national and local vendors, Rock-n-Ribs features national entertainment acts such as Dr. Hook featuring Ray Sawyer, Starship starring Mickey Thomas, John Waite, and Blood, Sweat & Tears, all who appeared in 2012. For free entry, current Alumni Association members need to bring their membership card and photo ID to the Will Call entrance of Rock-n-Ribs. Gates open each evening at 5 p.m. . Alumnus Writes for ChildrenNorth Central State College Alumni Association member Aileen (Roth) Stewart ('03) has written her first book, Fern Valley -- A Collection of Short Stories, which can be found at local bookstores and other outlets. In tough economic times, finding quality job leads can be difficult. The Office of Alumni Relations and the Career Development Office at North Central State College are partnering to offer valuable job placement services for North Central State alumni and students. North Central State College is utilizing new job posting software, called College Central Network. College Central Network allows employers to directly post and share job leads to North Central State’s electronic job board.
