Through the Child Development Center on the NC State campus, students have access to a hands-on lab that is National Association for the Education of Young Children accredited.
The Prekindergarten Option includes Directed Practicum (Student Teaching and Student Teaching Seminar). This leads to a Prekindergarten Associate Teaching license issued by the Ohio Department of Education.
The Administration Option and the Infant/Toddler Option will not be offered for the 2012-2013 school year.
What You Could Do
Many of our associate-degree graduates go on to obtain a bachelor’s degree. NC State has over 40 agreements with four-year colleges and universities, to provide a smooth transition for students who want to pursue a bachelor degree. Through university partnerships, some four-year courses are also offered on the NC State campus or online.
