Transfer two years of credits toward a bachelor’s degree!
|
|
The Best of Both Worlds
As part of the State of Ohio’s goal to make a college education possible for every Ohioan, North Central State College has been selected to provide the Associate of Arts and Associate of Science transfer degrees to students planning to complete a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree at a public college or university in Ohio. The AA/AS degrees include the core curriculum courses most baccalaureate programs require. The Board of Regents has agreed that the AA/AS degrees will transfer to all of Ohio’s public colleges and universities.
That’s great news for prospective students. You can get the first two years of your basic studies finished while living at home, keeping your part-time job, and saving thousands of dollars.
Where You Could Go
This program is designed as a stepping stone toward the completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree program at a public college or university in the state of Ohio.
NC State has over 40 agreements with four-year colleges and universities, to provide a smooth transition for students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree. Through university partnerships, some four-year degree completion courses are also offered on the NC State campus or online.
You're on Your Way
We encourage every student enrolling for the Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degree to consult with the institution with which they plan to transfer, to ensure that the credits earned at North Central State College will satisfy the requirements of the degree they plan to pursue when they transfer.

“I want a bachelor’s degree and I plan to pay for it myself. My Associate of Arts Degree from NC State will save me thousands of dollars. I figure I’ll save about 35% by taking my first two years right here, close to home.”
