AQIP: WHAT
is it?
The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the
North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA)
offers two alternatives for institutional accreditation --
the Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) and the
Program to Evaluate and Advance Quality (PEAQ).
Accreditation through AQIP is based on the College's
application of principles and processes of continuous
improvement.
The HLC has five Criteria for Accreditation.
AQIP has nine
categories that correlate with the Commission's Criteria.
