Academic Quality Improvement Program at NC StateNorth Central State College (NC State) is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and is approved by the Ohio Department of Education. NC State was accepted into the HLC's Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) in 2005. AQIP "infuses the principles and benefits of continuous improvement into the culture of colleges and universities by providing an alternative process through which an already-accredited institution can maintain its accreditation. With AQIP, the college "demonstrates it meets accreditation standards and expectations through sequences of events that align with ongoing activities that characterize organizations striving to improve their performance."
