Status/Progress at NCSC: Where we've been

Application/Acceptance to AQIP -- The College's Application to AQIP, written Fall 2004, submitted January 2005, accepted February 2005. 

In August 2004, the Early On AQIP Supporters (EOAS) was established as an advisory group for the AQIP application process. They established teams to address the questions on the AQIP Application.  Kate Peresie prepared the final document which was submitted by Dr. Ron Abrams to the Higher Learning Commission for approval December, 2004.  Approval was granted February, 2005. 

Highlights of the process were:

  • EOAS membership included Janet Boeckman, Dale Doty, Carol Easley, Pete Grant, Teri Kofod, Sharon Miller, Lew Milner, Peg Moir, Kate Peresie, Margaret Puckett, Ginger Rocks, Mary Rodriguez, and Bruce Sliney.

 

  • AQIP Application Team members (team leaders in bold) were Brian Baldridge, Terry Coleman, Katie Danielson, Crystal Escalara, Pete Grant, Doug Hanuscin, Brooke Henwood, Diane Hipsher, Rose Hughes, Sandra Luckie, Kimberly Lybarger, Phil Martin, Brad McCormack, Lori McKee, Bill Miller, Mark Monnes, Jim Olive, Kate Peresie, Margaret Puckett, Mary Rodriguez, Troy Shutler, Penny Snyder, Keith Stoner, Wendy Vogel, Betty Wells, Steve Williams, Tony Woodard, Bob Zettler. 

 

 

  • Application Teams drafted responses to the questions on the AQIP Application.  The responses were reviewed at an Application Mini-Retreat in November, 2004 to which all employees of the College were invited.
