NC State Courses (RDG)

In addition to helping students develop strategies to read and retain textbook material and to acquire reading habits, this course is designed to encourage the development of different reading rates for different material and to improve the ability to read critically. Must be completed with a C- or better in order to fulfill the mandatory placement requirement. RDG 116 is a required course for students whose COMPASS reading score indicates the need for reading instruction.
