ENG101 - BASIC COMPOSITION
3 credit hours; 3 class hours
Basic Composition is a course in writing effective, clearly organized essays. Emphasis is placed on sophisticated patterns and variations in paragraphing, planning/writing/revision techniques for complete essays, and various ways to make one’s writing as effective as possible. Most students must take the appropriate placement test before registering for this course. This course is graded pass (P) or no pass (NP).
