What Can I Do With This Degree?
Faculty: |
The Financial Management major is designed for both current employees of financial institutions and those seeking to begin a career in the financial area. Opportunities exist in the financial management area for both those who wish to work “in the office” as well as for those who prefer working “outside”, making calls at the customer’s place of business. If you are pursuing a career in financial management, you should be people oriented, be motivated, have a business demeanor, and be willing to put forth the effort to get the job done. The Financial Management curriculum addresses the economic arena in which financial institutions operate, the products financial institutions offer, and the business environment in which they operate. Program graduates are qualified for an entry-level position in business and industry in the financial field.
