It went well on Monday, in the chat room and in the discussion forum. Even the students in the lab produced some very nice samples. I enjoyed it. It was a new experience. Plan on working on the final project next week. Get the storyboards or flow charts ready.

email me your storyboards, flow charts or screen designs for your project. I need to see a copy of them as soon as possible.

Installation Trouble:
I installed Flash MX2004 in the lab and when the machine is restarted it looses its calendar and says it has expired. Not sure if Macromedia has a solution or not. I will continue to work on this problem.

Discussion reminders:
The back to DMT page does not take you to the correct page.
This is still not fixed. I have to go through the IT department to get it changed.

I also have not heard whether there are sounds for the chat room. Will let you know when I find out anything.

Video Tutorials
Watch the remainder of the videos. I have a few more that I will do and post Sunday night, but these give you an idea of how we are going to build our project.

Hints on Flash
When drawing in Flash items that are on the same layer that overlap other items cut them away when moved. Try putting a small circle over a larger square on the same layer. Then select the circle and move it away, there is a whole in the square.

Students in the lab had a hard time figuring out which was the timeline and where the frames where on the time line. Let me know if you have this problem.

Evaluations
Instructor evaluations are in. If you would like to stop by and fill one out you can. I will hold the ones for this class until finals week, other classes are being turned in all at once. These go to the Dean and allow for comments.

I will also have evaluations of the online learning as well as the DMT 110 class and will email those to you, for you to fill out. These will be for my graduate project and the class as a whole.

Sorry for posting this so late tonight had to go to an election party. A friend of ours was running for Prosecutor in Ashland County. She won. I was also getting ready for my sons' swim banquet tomorrow. I haven't cooked any food but I have put 470 photos in a power point. Now I just have to figure out what food to take and when I can run home to make it.
