Update:  June 11, 2002

Multiple Projects for Multiple Purposes!
This year, the Mechanical Engineering Technology students had a number of projects to work on.  The projects included:  (1) designing a backpack for Josh Stewart, a young man that lost his arms in an accident;  (2) building an air-operated workbench clamping system to help Tom Hampton, a gentleman who lost the use of one arm; (3) designing a blimp-mounted steady-cam for taking video camera aerial shots; and (4) the continuation of building a three-wheel gas-powered car that has been an ongoing effort by previous project classes.

Congratulations to all the students for their efforts!
