COMPASS Placement Assessment
In order for the Student Success Center to fulfill its mission of helping students reach their full potential here at the College, it is important for our academic advisors to be able to recommend courses that accurately “fit” the students’ needs and abilities.  To that end, we require that all new students go through our new student assessment process so that we can find out where their academic skills stand in the areas of reading, writing, and math.
