Microtek ScanMaker IV Scanner

Lab's Microtek ScannerThe scanner for the Faculty Multimedia Lab is a flatbed scanner that can accommodate up to legal-sized originals.

This scanner also has the capability to scan transparencies, film negatives,  slides and other media.

This scanner also has "OCR" capability to "read" printed documents and convert it into a Word document.

What This Equipment Can Be Used For:

This scanner can be used to digitize printed pictures, forms and other still images to edit or process them through the relevant editing software as well as to incorporate the imagery into Powerpoint presentations, videos, web pages or other projects. Likewise, this scanner can be used to re-create electronic copies of printed text documents.
