Faculty Loaner Laptop Computers 

One of the Lab's Dell Laptops

The Multimedia Lab has a loaner fleet of six Dell Laptops.

These computers are either running Windows 2000 or XP Operating System. Each laptop comes with an integrated keyboard & trackpad mouse. Each has a USB port so you can use a "Disk on Key" USB Memory stick drive with any of them.

Each of the laptops can connect to the Internet. Each laptop can connect to a projector, such as the labs' pool of loaner projectors.

What This Equipment Can Be Used For:
These laptops are portable digital workstations that can be used to create digital content on the go or share your digital content in the classroom.

Available Loaner Laptop Media Drives:
CD-ROM Drive - Can read information from a CD-ROM or a CD-R (R=Recordable) disc into the laptop.

CD-R/RW Drive - Can read information from a CD-ROM or "write" (or "burn") information to a blank CD-R or CD-RW disc.

DVD ROM Drive - Can read DVD movie and data discs (DVD+R or DVD-R)   

3 1/2" Floppy Disk ("A:") Drive -
Can read information from floppies into the laptop as well as "write" information from the laptop.
