“Simplifying the Articulation and Transfer Process”

What is CAS?

CAS is a free service to anyone interested in learning of ways in which courses will transfer from one institution to another, and the degree programs offered.

CAS provides direct access to course acceptability, equivalency and applicability among participating colleges and universities. CAS supports a storage vehicle to hold the student’s complete academic portfolio for future evaluations.

What Can Be Done in CAS?

You can store the courses you have taken at any institution in the “Your Courses” section of CAS. Those courses can be used to run Planning Guides that allow you to see how each institution will accept and apply your course work to your desired program of study.

You will be able to keep track of the completion of your degree program, store the Planning Guides that you have run, and monitor your progress toward completion of the Ohio Transfer Module.

Why Use Course Applicability System (CAS)?

Instead of going to different web sites for each school, you can go to ONE centralized location to find the information for which you are looking.

Whether you are thinking about it, plan to, or are in the process of transferring to (or from) North Central State College, you can check out the degree programs and requirements.

Log on to www.transfer.org to create an account. It's fast, easy and free! Get started with planning your degree completion! Explore CAS to discover it's usefulness.

Contact the CAS Coordinator if you have further questions or if you experience any problems using CAS:
