  NC State Students who desire acceptance to the Physical Therapist Assistant program will first be classified as "Pre-Physical Therapist Assistant" students. This status neither implies nor guarantees eventual acceptance into the Physical Therapist Assistant program. Pre-Physical Therapist Assistant students may register for developmental, general, basic courses and
PTA 150 if course prerequisite is met. No other PTA courses may be taken until acceptance to program. A 2.00 accumulative grade point average or higher must be maintained prior to entering the first quarter of the Physical Therapist Assistant program.
