Online courses have most, if not all class activity happen on the web. NC State uses the Blackboard online learning environment to deliver secured interaction and communication throughout the class between students and faculty. While almost all course content is electronic, a hard copy textbook(s) is usually required. Students may need to come to campus for an orientation session, and/or the mid-term and final.
