What You’ll Do
This program is the first important step in gaining college-level knowledge in the field of Business Management. Business Management is a highly practical, immediately applicable major, which builds upon foundational courses such as economics, management and marketing. Advanced courses can lead to certificates such as International Trade, Logistics/Transportation, Human Resources Management and Professional Sales. There is a
strong emphasis on strengthening the student’s oral and written communication skills, as well as critical thinking and problem-solving.
Where You Could Go
Many students use this program as a stepping stone toward the completion of a four-year bachelor degree in business.
NC State has over 40 agreements with four-year colleges and universities, to provide a smooth transition for students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree. Through university partnerships, some four-year courses are also offered on the NC State campus or online.
What You Could Earn
Depending on position and training, Business Management
graduates could earn between $25,000 and $45,000 in north central Ohio.
